JOIN OUR CLUB
Waverley Basketball Club, established in 1974, operates within the junior domestic program of the Melbourne East Basketball Association (MEBA). Our primary goal is to provide extensive opportunities for young girls and boys to actively participate in and enjoy basketball. Emphasising sportsmanship and team play, we cater to players of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.
As one of the largest local junior basketball clubs, Waverley Basketball Club accommodates members aged 6 to 19 years old, fielding both girls' and boys' teams across all age groups. Each season, the club enters a significant number of teams into both midweek and Saturday competitions, competing against other local clubs.

Winter 2026 season
Registration for the Winter 2026 season is now closed. Please click here to request to be placed on the registration wait list.
No late registrations will be taken.
Once registration is closed, players can be put on our registration waitlist by completeing the Registration Waitlist form. You will only be contacted if a spot in a team becomes available.

If you are registering to play in the Saturday AND Midweek competitions, then you will need to complete BOTH registration links.
We recommend the Midweek competition for players who have played at least two domestic seasons. All other players, including beginners, can play in the Saturday competition.
